One of the longest and most complex negotiations of this summer market was certainly the one that brought Charles De Ketelaere to the Rossoneri. AC Milan had to beat the competition from Premier League side Leeds United in order to sign him. Now that he is here, the fans are expecting to see quality added to the squad of head coach Stefano Pioli.
Belgium coach, Roberto Martinez, has released an interview to the microphones of La Gazzetta dello Sport and discussed De Ketelaere. Here are his words:
"De Ketelaere knows how to amaze, he is elegant and steals the show. He will be among the great Milan players. Charles has always grown, we have accompanied him in a project from the Under 21 to the first team and he has an extraordinary ability to occupy all the attacking zones."
Roberto Martinez continued to talk about Charles De Ketelaere:
"He knows how to adapt to the needs above all thanks to his technique."
