AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has spoken to the microphones of DAZN after the victory against Udinese at the San Siro. Here are his words regarding the 4-2 win:
"We need to start the games better. Then we did 30 minutes of great football, facing a dangerous and physical opponent. We have to do better, but we take positive things with us."
On Ante Rebic's performance:
"He helps us a lot, Ante is very strong. He knows how to move, he knows how to tie the game, he goes deep. He has everything to be important, he knows it and I know it. He started well, we are happy, but the performances of the forwards are judged not only by the goals. He worked a lot without the ball, congratulations."
On Brahim Diaz:
"We ask Brahim to be present inside the area, to be effective in assists. Today he scoredhe like others played lightly too many balls in between. We have to work on this, but the will, the energy and the intensity to believe, it was there. Defects will make us work even better."
First impressions on Charles De Ketelaere, Pioli said this:
"Positive impressions, he's an intelligent guy and he can see himself on the pitch, he reads situations in advance. His condition is not the best but all these moments are helping him. We try to fill the lines with more players, maybe he could do it himself. There is no doubt about his potential, but we need to give him time to better understand this football."
On the chant 'Pioli on Fire:
"I hope they continue singing it for a long time. The important thing was to get back to winning in front of our fans. We must now work, try to be as perfect as possible."
