The search for a defender is still ongoing for AC Milan. Two names in particular have been linked with a move to the red and black faithful: Tottenham's Japhet Tanganga and Paris Saint-Germain's Abdou Diallo.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print edition, this could be the decisive week at Milan, especially on the defender front. Paolo Maldini would be ready for a new attempt to be launched.
Milan have long been targeting Abdou Diallo, the Senegalese defender who was formerly at Borussia Dortmund. In fact, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara seem convinced that they can bring the player to the San Siro. PSG are open to letting him go and an agreement can be found with AC Milan.
Abdou Diallo would be very useful to coach Pioli because he can play as a centre-back and a left-back. As per the newspaper, Paolo Maldini would be ready to intensify contacts with PSG these days.
