AC Milan would like to close the transfer window of this summer with two more signings, if there are the right opportunities, as per different media reports. The positions that the club management would like to reinforce are the centre-back and defensive midfielder. Two players who used to occupy those positions have left on a free (Alessio Romagnoli and Franck Kessié) and it is up to the directors to find the suitable profiles to replace them.

In today's print edition, the Italian newspaper Il Messaggero continued to confirm and insist the previous mercato news: the Rossoneri managers are still on the trail of Paris Saint-Germain player Abdou Diallo to reinforce the defensive department of Stefano Pioli's squad. Diallo has a contract with PSG that is valid until 2024. He is left-footed and can play also as a left-back.

As for the defensive midfielder, AC Milan's eyes are on the Nigerian talent who is 21 years old: Raphael Onyedika. He plays for Danish club Midtjylland and has a contract valid until 2024.
