According to what is reported by Calciomercato.com, Bennacer's agent was in Italy at the end of last week but there has not been any updates regarding a contract renewal of the Algerian midfielder whose current deal expires in June 2024.
As per the source, AC Milan's latest offer was worth 3 million euros net per season. But, it was not accepted. The agent wants much more money. Bennacer now earns around 1.7 million and would like more than double.
AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are planning for a new contact with the player's agent once the transfer window ends and Gerry Cardinale takes over as the club chief.
