AC Milan want to reinforce the defensive area and a few names have been linked with a move to the Rossoneri, especially after the exit of Alessio Romagnoli who joined SS Lazio.

According to what is reported by Tuttosport in today's print edition, the trail leading to Paris Saint-Germain's player Abdou Diallo is gradually 'cooling down'.
As per the newspaper, there are two reasons behind Milan slowing down for the Senegalese defender: the player is not convinced by the role that was proposed to him by AC Milan. The second reason is that the champions of Italy and PSG are not agreeing on the transfer formula. In fact, the Rossoneri would like a loan with the option to buy. The French champions, however, continue to insist on adding an obligation to buy.
For this reason, Matteo Gabbia, central defender of AC Milan who is 22 years old should remain at Milan at least until January.
