Interviewed by La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print edition, Fabio Capello, former coach of the Rossoneri team, spoke of the AC Milan management post-Scudetto. Here are his words:
"The danger is in your head, especially if you train players who are not used to winning continuously. When you win, they tend to think they have done everything, but in a club like Milan, winning means having done one's duty."
Capello also spoke about the Rossoneri's transfer market window and Charles De Ketelaere:
"I think Maldini and Massara moved with well-defined objectives and above all priorities. They signed (Divock) Origi, then they focused on the attacking midfielder: they wanted De Ketelaere at all costs because, evidently, they consider him important to their project. It was a long, exhausting negotiation but they reached the finish line without resorting to plan B. These are straight clear choices."
