AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are now working on signing Cameroonian defensive midfielder who is 22 years old: Jean Onana from Ligue 2 outfit Girondins de Bordeaux. The player is viewed as the heir of Franck Kessié in midfield. The primary target was Renato Sanches, but his choice to go to Paris Saint-Germain left the Rossoneri empty-handed and looking at alternatives.
According to the latest news reported by Italian journalist Luca Bianchin of La Gazzetta dello Sport, French club Bordeaux are requesting to receive a transfer fee of 6 million euros plus bonuses worth 1 million euros and a a percentage on any future resale of the player.
AC Milan, for their part, are willing to strike an agreement and they have good chances to make a deal with Bordeaux for Jean Onana at a fee of 5 million euros plus a percentage on any future resale.
