A day before the match against AC Milan at the San Siro, Bologna's head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has spoken to the media in a press conference about the fixture.
Here are some of his statements:
"I hope to finish the match with eleven players, then we play. Even in the last match at San Siro against Milan we did very well. We know they will put us in trouble but we can too. Each match is a story in itself, I am convinced that we will make a great performance but I don't know if this will be enough for us or not. We have to play to win. They are very strong, it is a team that has won the championship and therefore the favourite side. Milan last year had more continuity, if they find it again they can do well."
Mihajlovic continued:
"In 2 matches, we took 10 yellow cards and 2 red cards. There are functional and dysfunctional warnings in the match. Dysfunctional is when a yellow is taken without meaning. I too was often undisciplined, I often fell into the trap and got nervous. Then I promised myself that I wouldn't do these things here. Since I was 26/27 years old I didn't fall into provocations anymore, remaining focused on what I had to do. I know it's not easy, maybe it's easier said than done but we have to manage our emotions. There will be 60,000 people tomorrow, we have to be calm. Nothing is resolved by talking to the referee, but I was the first who for many years could not contain himself. We have to use our heads. They are all available, even Aebischer and Lucumi: they can play as they can."
