AC Milan suffered a disappointing draw against Sassuolo last night as Stefano Pioli's men did not manage to score, but only kept a clean sheet. During that match, Alessandro Florenzi sustained an injury and he will undergo medical examinations today to assess the severity of his left flexor.
At Casa Milan, they are trying to figure out what the next move should be now as they could start a quick search for a right-back to replace the former AS Roma player who is suffering from an important injury.
Among the options that are being evaluated right now are 30-year-old right-back of Atalanta Davide Zappacosta whose contract with the Bergamo club runs until June 2025. The other option is 22-year-old right-back of Serie B side Cagliari Gabriele Zappa. His contract also expires in June 2025. But, these two players are not the only ones.
