Belgian midfielder of AC Milan, Aster Vranckx, who arrived on loan with option to buy from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg in the last days of the transfer market, was interviewed by Milan TV. Here are his words:

"I think this is a big step forward for my career, I will try to give my all for the club hoping to win the Scudetto again."

On his mentality:

"I believe that in life there are no limits, you have to keep pushing towards your dreams without ever giving up."

On his qualities:

"I think I'm a midfielder with a a lot of running and a lot of strength, I also have good feet."

On playing with other Belgian players (Alexis Saelemaekers, Divock Origi and Charles De Ketelaere):

"I think it's nice that there are so many Belgian players. I know Saelemaekers and Origi, but not as much as De Ketelaere. Charles told me this is a great club, the players and the environment are good: so I immediately felt good when I arrived."

Vranckx on Milan:

"When I think of Milan I think of players like Ronaldinho and Kakà, who are players that I really like."

On the Serie A league:

"From what I have heard and seen, Serie A is very tactical and there is a lot of quality in this league. I can't wait to start playing."

On choosing number 40:

"It's the number I started my career with and I've always liked it. At the beginning, I chose it with my first team, there was no real reason: but I had some good years with it so I got it again."

Finally, Vranckx said the following to the fans:

"I am very happy to be here and I will give my best for Milan. I hope to have your support."
