Claudio Marchisio spoke yesterday about the derby which ended in AC Milan's victory against Simone Inzaghi's team. The former Juventus player made sure to also give credit to Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara who have done an excellent job.
Here are his words to Domenica Sportiva:
"The credit does not go only to Pioli and players, but also to the club, Maldini and Massara who have done an excellent job. The Milan squad has many young and talented guys, who if kept, can create a strong core that will lead to growing more and more over the years."
Claudio Marchisio added:
"A game is played every three days, Inter have taken a beating in the derby but in a few days will play the Champions League game. This can bring them the chance to fix it right away or to continue their streak."
