The change of ownership for AC Milan (from Elliott Management Corporation to RedBird Capital Partners) could mean the end of the adventure of Ivan Gazidis. According to different reports, the South African may not experience working with RedBird beyond his contract expiry (November) as he has a contract offer from the MLS and a return there is possible. But, his colleague Paolo Scaroni, who is the president of the Rossoneri club, should continue under the regime of RedBird and Gerry Cardinale.
According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print edition, the 75-year-old Italian should be confirmed by the new American ownership and he will continue in his role as club president.
