AC Milan, the champions of Italy, will start their Champions League journey today. Their first game in this elite competition is against RB Salzburg in Austria. The opposition are a strong team and not to be underestimated.
Il Corriere della Sera in today's print edition have warned the Rossoneri club and fans of the Austrian squad who are led by German coach Matthias Jaissle. Although they do not have a great status like Milan or the other top European clubs, they still do display a very good style of football: fast and attacking minded.
Stefano Pioli's AC Milan must not, therefore, think that the game will be easy at all. Last season, no team in the Champions League was able to beat RB Salzburg in their turf, including German giants Bayern Munich.
