AC Milan won an important game against Sampdoria tonight 1-2 at a difficult stadium. It is the first victory away from home for Stefano Pioli's boys.
After the game had ended, the gaffer had these words to say to the microphones of Sky Sport Italia:
"Tonali has become a complete midfielder, but he can become even better, he knows it. Renewal? It is a deserved one. He has an attitude that makes the difference."
Pioli on the match:
"We played an excellent first half, where we could have done a little more. Then the numerical inferiority, so we had to sweat a lot. This is an important victory, because we have achieved some goals: we have improved certain game situations and won on a difficult field."
On Rafael Leao's red card:
"I'm sorry for Leao's double yellow, I asked him to be more careful in the second half not to commit certain fouls . Then he tried that play and it went as it went. I'm sorry for that."
