AC Milan managers Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, after several renewals, (such as those of Smon Kjaer, Theo Hernandez, Tommaso Pobega, and Fikayo Tomori, Sandro Tonali and Rade Krunic) are working to reward French striker Olivier Giroud with a new deal. The former Chelsea and Arsenal man has a contract which expires at the end of the current season.
The player has already 3 goals to his name and one assist registered in Serie A. He is 35 years old but he has been always available to coach Stefano Pioli this team. The Rossoneri are relying on him especially since Divock Origi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ante Rebic are absent.
According to what is reported in today's print edition of Tuttosport, AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are planning to offer a renewal to Olivier Giroud until June 2024 with an option to extend for one more year.
For Olivier Giroud's part, he is loving the environment in Milan and he has never hidden his desire to stay with the Italian champions.
