After the victory against Dinamo Zagreb, AC Milan's technical area director, Paolo Maldini, has granted a brief interview to the micrphones of SportMediaset. Here are the legendary Rossonero number 3's words:
"Leao's renewal? It is an issue that we have faced many months ago. Rafa does know that to become stronger than now, the solution is to stay with us: we have a young team and growing team."
Maldini added:
"Leao still has many things to learn. If he reaches a higher level than Milan's, then I think it's normal to go. But, we intend to do great things and to grow with him. Chelsea? Their offer came in an informal way, and it was rejected."
