AC Milan's Belgian attacking midfielder, Charles De Ketelaere, is still settling in. He has not yet showed his potential as he needs more time to get used to the new league, teammates and the coach's game.
As pointed out by Il Corriere dello Sport this morning, Milan arrive at the Napoli game with heavy absences: there is the usual Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Divock Origi, Ante Rebic and more importantly Rafael Leao. Pioli now has an important task ahead of him which is to field the best possible lineup. As per the newspaper, he will rely a lot on the availability of Charles De Ketelaere and his talent.
In the 4-2-3-1 module, the former Club Brugge star should be in the central area of the attacking midfield, flanked by Alexis Saelemaekers on the left and Junior Messias on the right. But, the Rossonero number 90 could switch positions in the attacking midfield thanks to his versatility.
Besides being able to play as a winger, De Ketelaere can play as a centre-forward as well if Olivier Giroud needs to be replaced. The Frenchman is the only centre-forward available to face Napoli and his back-up can be the Belgian 21-year-old. In short, De Ketelaere is flexible and very useful to Stefano Pioli and hopefully for the Rossoneri, he will give a great helping hand to his teammates.
