The AC Milan squad continues to work at Milanello in view of preparations for the Empoli fixture. The Rossoneri will take the field on Saturday 1 October at 8.45pm (Italy time) against the team of Paolo Zanetti.
As per Gianluca Di Marzio's latest updates, there some updates from the latest training session at Milanello regarding the physical condition of some Rossoneri players. Also today, Rafael Leao, Ismael Bennacer, Malick Thiaw and Fodé Ballo-Touré have all returned from their respective national teams.
Sandro Tonali trained with the rest of the group today and therefore should be part of the squad list to take on Empoli this weekend.
As for Ante Rebic and Divock Origi, it is a different matter, however. The two forwards have still worked separately, making it almost impossible for them to be available for the Serie A game versus Empoli. Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez, meanwhile, continue to undergo therapies to treat their injuries.
