RedBird founder and its managing partner, Gerry Cardinale, has important visions and ambitions for the AC Milan club as he aims to take it to the next level. The American businessman wants to continue investing in youth and even implement a more data analysis driven recruitment strategy. He also wants to improve the fans' experience in supporting their beloved club.

Cardinale's goal, as relayed by Italy-based website Milannews.it, is to build a business empire and improve it in several aspects from sporting results, entertainment, media and financial departments: "RedBird studied for 5 years, before buying Milan, and met over two hundred clubs across Europe."

It is very important for RedBird, to focus on data the cornerstone of Moneyball, highlighting how RedBird differs in the way it uses them: a combination of data and instinct . This may be the secret of the American mission at Casa Milan.

For Gerry Cardinale, Milan's goal must be to keep winning and bring home the victories for the Rossoneri fans. He was struck by the passion of the fans when he was at Milan in the day of the Scudetto celebrations. He wants to take the club to the next level by increasing their revenue. The RedBird chief sees huge potential and value in Milan and also in Italian football in general.
