AC Milan's head coach, Stefano Pioli, has spoken to the microphones of DAZN after the victory of his side against Hellas Verona 1-2. Here are his words:
"The approach? More than good, then we disunited, we stretched in two sections. We have quality players who can help us find the winning play.
On Yacine Adli's performance who started from the first minute against Hellas Verona:
"For Adli it was not an easy match, but I think he moved well and made good plays. Some difficulties were to be expected. Origi? I liked Origi, he is finally fine, mentally free from the injury of the end of last season."
Pioli on Theo Hernandez:
"We expected Theo's movement to be followed from their wide player because we have a player on the wing like Leao who is strong when he receives important passes."
On the new signings:
"Let's not forget that Thiaw, Vranckx and Dest arrived less than two months ago. I believe they have great potential. I'm sure they will be ready soon."
