AC Milan have announced that they are opening a channel on Chinese platform Bilibili. The website is a video sharing website based in Shanghai where users can submit, view and add overlaid commentary on videos.
This is the statement from the Rossoneri club on their linkedin profile:
"AC Milan is continuing its expansion into the digital world and is reinforcing its presence in the Chinese market by launching its official channel on Bilibili, the most popular video platform in China with 328 million users under the age of 24. Bilibili was founded in 2009 and was originally a place for lovers of animation, comics, games and novels. Thanks to the development of content focusing on young culture and its special method of engagement, ‘bullet chat’, Bilibili boasts itself as a platform of 3.1 billion daily video views and 12.5 billion engagements per month."
"Via their new Bilibili channel, AC Milan will publish content ranging from behind-the-scenes footage, videos from the past and present to local and global fan-related content, all in the way of youth and popularity."
