In AC Milan's remaining games until the new year, Stefano Pioli will not be relying on Mike Maignan due to the injury he sustained just recently. This means that the Rossoneri head coach will continue to deploy his second choice keeper Ciprian Tatarusanu.
As per La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition, Stefano Pioli is set to show faith once more in the Romanian while Maignan goes through a recovery schedule. It is not yet exactly clear, however, if he can be able to play in the World Cup in November or not.
For now, though, Tatarusanu has become the first choice of Stefano Pioli. The gaffer trusts the former Olympique de Lyon and Fiorentina shotstopper. However, the coach made it clear that that Tatarusanu may also need rest in such a period as Milan will paly 7 matches in 22 days (In the pre-match press conference yesterday). If the Romanian requires rest, the newspaper points out that Antonio Mirante and youngster Andreas Jungdal would be available and ready to step in.
