Rafael Leao enjoyed a great night in Zagreb as he scored his first goal in this season in the Champions League competition. The player now has 6 goals and 9 assists after 15 games between Serie A and Champions League.
The 23-year-old Portugal international showed his class even in Europe and he was behind the action that led to Dinamo Zagreb's own goal.
The Portuguese was therefore decisive again and for this reason the renewal of his contract expiring in 2024 is urgently needed, writes La Repubblica.
Leao's contract runs until June 2024 and when asked about updates today, AC Milan CEO had this to say during the club's shareholders meeting at Casa Milan:
"No more voices are needed besides that of Paolo Maldini. Paolo is asked weekly about Leao. I won’t add anything else and we leave it to him to give the statements on the matter."
