Tonight, the AC Milan team of Stefano Pioli lost, unfortunately, against Torino. Away from home, the red and black faithful missed two important clear chances to score, both wasted by Rafael Leao at the beginning of the first half. Torino then managed to score in the 35th and 37th minute thanks to Koffi Djidji and Aleksei Miranchuk respectively. The Rossoneri only managed to pull one back in the second half with Junior Messias' goal in the 67th minute. The game ended 2-1, and it is AC Milan's second loss in the Serie A season.
The loss comes from a disappointing performance which is very unlike the usual level of the defending champions of Italy. A series of fouls and easily avoidable mistakes cost the team dearly. There is no time to keep thinking about this. Instead, the coach and his squad must analyse where they went wrong and work on improving while preparing for the next challenge as a crucial game in the Champions League awaits: AC Milan must at least get one point in order to qualify to the round of 16 of the European elite competition.
