The Romanian goalkeeper of AC Milan, Ciprian Tatarusanu, is stepping up for Stefano Pioli to replace injured Mike Maignan. The former Fiorentina shotstopper, however, has a contract valid until June 2023 and some reports are claiming that the two parties will go each in their separate ways, therefore no renewal would take place.
According to the latest rumour claimed by Calciomercato.com, the replacement of Tatarusanu could come from Italy. In fact, the profile who is on the club's agenda, reportedly, is 30-year-old Italian goalkeeper of Atalanta Marco Sportiello.
Sportiello's contract with the Bergamo-based club expires at the end of the season, like Tatarusanu. He managed to make 5 appearances so far this season in Serie A for his club and kept two clean sheets.
