AC Milan's Algerian midfielder, Ismael Bennacer, has a contract which expires at the end of next season, June 2024. The former Arsenal and Empoli man has become an important part of Stefano Pioli's system especially after the exit of Franck Kessié. He's become the starting partner of Sandro Tonali in the midfield department.
According to what is reported by multiple media reports, the Rossoneri managers Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara want to extend the contract of the Algerian. But, an agreement on the terms for the new deal is yet to be found.
As per what is reported by Italy-based website Calciomeercato.com, the negotiation for the renewal of the contract expiring in 2024 is still ongoing between the club and the player's entourage. The request of the player is a salary of 4 million euros net per season.
