AC Milan's owner, Gerry Cardinale, has a clear goal for the Rossoneri: he wants to take the club to the next level in terms of brand image and reliability. The American businessman wants to strengthen the Rossoneri's balance sheet: keep it in order and improve it financially.

As pointed out by La Repubblica today, the plan of Gerry Cardinale is to grow on all aspects and bring more revenue. He wants to get closer to the Premier League clubs and that can be done by improving the money gained from tv rights, sponsorships and commercial rights.

RedBird 's first step has already begun: in recent months it has begun to develop the media company, new sponsorships, brand enhancement, synergies with professional American sports, in particular with the New York Yankees. This is only the start and a lot more can be achieved.

The objective for Gerry Cardinale and RedBird is to reach 500 million euros of revenue from commercial revenues, TV rights and sponsorships. Then, to these, the revenue of a future owned stadium must be added. Only then will Milan really be able to afford some really expensive signing in the transfer market, writes the newspaper. With the growth of revenue, then AC Milan could spend more in terms of wages as well.

For context, Real Madrid's revenue is estimated at 640 million euros while Manchester City are at 645 million euros. German club's revenues are valued at 611 million while other clubs like Barcelona, Liverpool, PSG, and Manchester United are above 500 million euros.
