AC Milan's head coach, Stefano Pioli, took time to answer some questions of the journalists from Amazon Prime Video after his team's victory against RB Salzburg 4-0. Here are his words:
"In the first half, we conceded too much, but we were always dangerous. In the second half, after the second goal, we took even more domination and control of the game. For me, it was a great Champions League match.
He added:
"We wanted to have more width than them, Leao tighter with Rebic and Hernandez to give width and Krunic to fit in. Game changes could give us an advantage , I think we were better at reading this situation than in the first leg."
Pioli continued:
"Who we meet? It'll be a difficult match and a stimulating opponent. We are the champions of Italy and we must try to move forward as early as possible."
Are you afraid from the next stage in the Champions League?
"We must not be afraid to aim high, now we have to resume in Serie A from the bad performance in Turin. It will be difficult against a team that plays an effective football like Spezia, but we must take advantage of these matches to stay close to Napoli. We have to be ambitious, I have strong players who feel strong. There will be time for the Champions League."
