La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning made a headline about Sandro Tonali's presence in the AC Milan game against Spezia: "Fight, score and create assists. So the handyman puts the turbo on his Milan."
The Italian midfielder, formerly of Brescia, entered the pitch, scored a screamer which was later called off due to a foul committed by Fikayo Tomori on a Spezia player. But, Tonali never gave up and continued to fight for every ball on the pitch until he eventually provided a beautiful assist to French striker Olivier Giroud who found the winner.
The growth of the 22-year-old in the last two seasons has been exponential and he has no intention of stopping.
