Andriy Shevchenko spoke to Virgin Radio about AC Milan's first half of the season so far:
"I've seen some matches in which Milan played very well, in others they struggled a bit more, but the most important thing is that they win . They've had a lot of injuries, but they are a big group fighting for goals."
He added:
"The merits of this go to Pioli, Maldini and Massara. Pioli is doing an incredible job, especially from a mental point of view."
Shevchenko concluded:
"It's always nice to see a team play well, but it's also important to win when things go less well."
