Rafael Leao's contract is yet to be extended with the AC Milan club. The Portuguese star has a deal expiring in June 2024. The Rossoneri head coach, Stefano Pioli, talked about the future of his star and said the following to Sky Sport Italia:
"Two things are certain, that he is fine with us, because I see him and I hear from him. Then, Rafa and the club are talking. Let’s wait for some good news. I think his journey with us is not finished yet, I see that we are good together."
The negotiations are certainly difficult, but the club managers and fans are hoping that the former Lille star will agree to extend his deal with the Italian reigning champions. While Rafael Leao is involved with his national team in the World Cup at Qatar, he quote tweeted a video of AC Milan which features his goals, he wrote the following words: "More to come". Certainly a hint that makes the fans dream and hope for positive news soon...
