Marco Sportiello should be an AC Milan player very soon, according to a report.
Over the past few weeks, multiple news reports have emerged claiming that Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are very keen on signing Atalanta's goalkeeper Marco Sportiello. He is 30 years old, Italian with plenty of experience in the Serie A. For the red and black faithful, he is a great profile to become the new backup of Mike Maignan, thus replacing Ciprian Tatarusanu who is set to leave the club once his deal expires at the end of the current season.
Sportiello's contract with Atalanta expires at the end of the season. According to what has been recently reported by the Italy-based news website Calciomercato.com, Milan have reached a total agreement with Sportiello and the signing on the paperwork is already scheduled to take place in February, after the ending of the January transfer market window.
