La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's edition continue to insist and confirm previous news that the AC Milan club directors are willing to satisfy Leao's economic demands with a salary set at 7 million euros net per season.
The player whose contract runs out in June 2024, is a crucial element in Stefano Pioli's system and there is a big will from the club management to keep him for a few more years beyond the deadline in his current contract.
As per the source, AC Milan are willing to put on the table 7 million euros, but the issue which remains is the compensation that must be paid to Sporting Lisbon.
The newspaper also points out that Rafael Leao's lawyer, Frenchman Ted Dimvula was in Casa Milan in the last few days as he represented 17-year-old Nigerian defensive midfielder Victor Eletu who signed his first professional contract with AC Milan.
