French goalkeeper of AC Milan Mike Maignan continues to work towards reaching a full recovery from his latest injury which kept him out of the World Cup competition. The former Lille champions is now focusing on returning to the playing field as he wants to get back to a great shape and form.
According to what is reported by Tuttosport in today's print edition, the shotstopper will not be available to play in the AC Milan friendly match against PSV Eindhoven on December 30.
As explained by the daily Turin-based newspaper, the goal is to be ready in time for the Salernitana match on January 4. The medical staff of the Italian giants do not want to risk any further injuries by rushing Maignan back to the pitch.
