AC Milan's head coach, Stefano Pioli has granted an important interview to 'I re del calcio', which should be fully released on December 29. SportMediaset have revealed a few statements:
"I think I've improved in many aspects and many situations, but above all in the two/ three things that I consider to be the most important for my job, namely the different tactical solutions, the relationship with my players and perhaps even better communication with the outside than what I could do at the beginning of my career."
On the Scudetto victory of last season:
"At 2 in the morning, we smoked a big cigar on the balcony with all the Milan fans passing by with flags, at that moment I really understood the greatness of what we had done."
Pioli regrets not having been able to celebrate the Scudetto with his father...
"I have always felt protected by my father, he has always followed me with such discretion and positivity that he would have deserved to experience it with us that beautiful satisfaction."
