Andrei Coubis, who plays for the AC Milan Primavera side is an important talent who could have a very good future ahead of him if he continues the hard work he's been doing recently. At the age of 19, he stands at 187 centimetres tall.
The Rossoneri management do recognise his talents and appreciate him greatly, and that is why they renewed his deal this year. His new contract now sees him tied to Il Diavolo until June 2027.
Coubis was born in Milano to Romanian parents. Reports are claiming that the Romanian football federation are looking to have him available in the future for their national team with their head coach saying the following words about him:
"There is the risk of losing him, he grew up elsewhere and has a different mentality I put him on my shortlist. In November, we were close to having him accepted but now it's time to put things in order, we have priorities like dealing with those players who form the core of the national team. I don't think it's right to hurriedly launch someone just for the risk of not losing them. Such things have been done, but as long as I am here I will not have such thoughts. I don't want to deceive anyone."
As pointed out by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Coubis did play for the Romanian Under national teams, but now he wants to represent Italy.
Coubis has a double passport and the bureaucratic procedures could materialize shortly. In particular, a call-up from Italy's Under 20 or the Under 21 could arrive. It is an important step because the regulations allow only one transfer from federation to federation: in short, the choice of the Azzurri would be definitive.
