Unfortunately, AC Milan will have to wait a little longer for their French star Mike Maignan to fill the goalkeeper position once again. He is still suffering from the calf injury and a recovery still requires some time.
La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper in today's print edition report that the Frenchman's goal is to returning to the pitch by mid-January, when the Rossoneri will be in Riyadh to compete against their bitter city rivals Inter for the Italian super cup.
For now, however, Ciprian Tatarusanu and Antonio Mirante are battling for the starting position. It is a close contest between the two experienced shotstoppers of AC Milan. Tomorrow's friendly match against PSV Eindhoven should give valuable insight to the coaching staff regarding that position.
