AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara want to find the right opportunity in the mercato. Gerry Cardinale, the club's majority owner, wants to continue the same strategy which brought Milan the Scudetto of last season: signing affordable players and seizing good chances.
As reported by the Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, the Rossoneri management are monitoring the situation of AS Roma's star Nicolo Zaniolo.
The Italian player in question has not yet renewed his contract with the Giallorossi, and it currently expires in June 2024. The left-footed attacking midfielder right-winger pleases the Rossoneri.
AC Milan are ready to make an attempt for the 23-year-old. However, they are not the only club who are showing interest in Zaniolo. In fact, Juventus are understood to be in the running for him.
