AC Milan's right-back and captain, Davide Calabria, wrote a letter which he published on his Instagram profile. He addressed the Rossoneri fans with the following words on the occasion of the new year:
"This 2022 ends, the year that, sportingly speaking, has given me more emotions than ever.
The first six months were those of the Scudetto ride, fighting point by point to achieve the goal that first as a Milan fan and then as a player I have always dreamed of, the Scudetto.
A year with a wonderful group of colleagues and friends, a season with a wonderful dressing room.
During the summer, also thanks to the time spent with my family and my old friends, I was able to recharge my batteries.
This season our will is to continue on the path undertaken both in Italy and in Europe and although our opponents are increasingly fierce, we will do everything to take Milan's name to the top.
