Former AC Milan player and coach, Clarence Seedorf, granted an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper. Here are his words about the Rossoneri club and the Scudetto challenge in the standings with Napoli:
"The Rossoneri are more used to playing important matches and they're solid. I think it will shorten the gap (with Napoli). Milan's luck is having re-established a winning culture, especially with Maldini."
On Rafael Leao:
"Leao didn't play much at the World Cup, he'll be energetic. I'd be happy if he continues with Milan, it would be a correct choice. He still has to improve, and if he were to go away, he would risk reducing the margins for growth. The money will come and it will be a lot."
Seedorf on Charles De Ketelaere:
"I don't know him personally but I don't think there's a character problem... I too have played with shy youngsters who have grown up. An example? Kluivert at Milan."
On his coaching career's future and if he would like to return to Serie A:
"Yes, I also expected an offer from Serie A A and I'm disappointed that I didn't get it. I remain open, I would like to coach again but it is certainly not a problem."
