So far, the only AC Milan signing during this January transfer market window has been Devis Vasquez, a 24-year-old Colombian goalkeeper. It seems that the priority, at least for now, is locking Rafael Leao and Ismael Bennacer down with new contract extensions.
The Rossoneri directors, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, have always shown that they are ready to snatch some talented players if the opportunity presents itself.
As reported by Pianeta Milan, AC Milan have turned their attention to Nicolo Zaniolo since Hakim Ziyech proves to be a difficult target. The AS Roma attacking midfielder and right-winger is on a contract with the Giallorossi which expires in June 2024.
Zaniolo would be quite useful for the gaffer when he draws his tactical plans. But also, he would be useful for the Champions League and Serie A lists, since he is Italian who is a product of the the Italian league (Inter Primavera). The issue, however, in trying to sign Zaniolo is the tough competition because Atlético Madrid could try to sign him as they are close to finalise exit of Joao Felix to Premier League side Chelsea.
Zaniolo is 23 years old. Right now, he is valued at around 30 million euros and he would reportedly request a net salary of 4 million euros per season.
