AS Roma's comeback at the San Siro against the AC Milan team has left its mark. Yesterday at Milanello, when training resumed, the faces of the players were still sad for the lack of victory against the Giallorossi. It is clear that there are seriois problems and some things are not really working as they should in the lineup of head coach Stefano Pioli.
Il Corriere della Sera explain how even the new signings have not added much to the contribution of the squad's effort: We're talking about Divock Origi, Yacine Adli, Sergino Dest, Aster Vranckx, Malick Thiaw and most importantly Charles De Ketelaere who was signed for around 32 million euros (plus bonuses) last summer from Club Brugge.
Added to this is the enormous problem of too many injuries affecting the AC Milan players and so Stefano Pioli finds himself with no alternatives: right now, for example, Olivier Giroud, fresh from the World Cup, hasn't yet pulled the breath because there is no substitute given that Origi, Rebic and Ibrahimovic are still out, as relayed by Milan News.
In other Rossoneri news, AC Milan youngster is a Serie B club's "dream" signing for next summer.
