AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have names on their shortlist: players who can be able to reinforce Stefano Pioli's team in view of the summer transfer market window. One of the names who are linked with a move to the San Siro is Alejandro Grimaldo of Benfica: a 27-year-old Spanish left-back.
As per the Calcio Mercato outlet, Grimaldo is seen as an ideal profile who can be the back-up of French super star Theo Hernandez. However, signing him would be difficult because he would not like to be sitting on the bench so often.
The source adds that if Milan remains a remote option for the Spaniard, then Juventus may be the right destination for him. In fact, the 'Old Lady' has kept contacts with Grimaldo's entourage and is ready to offer a three-year contract with a significant salary. He could take over from Alex Sandro who should leave at the end of the current season.
