AC Milan's technical area director Paolo Maldini spoke to DAZN after the loss against Lazio. Here are his words:
"It is a difficult time. We missed two goals (Coppa Italia and the Super Cup) and we lost this match. We have to regain our spirit calmly. Last year we won the Scudetto We are still second in the table. With all due respect for this moment but we are in line with our parameters."
On missing Franck Kessié in midfield:
"He left because he had demands that we could not satisfy. We are no longer the Milan of the 90s."

On Mike Maignan:
"Maignan? The last tests went well. He should be back in February. Origi and CDK? It's not easy to fit in if a team doesn't play well. Zaniolo? Massara has already said it all. We won't go over our heads."
