The theme of the new stadium has returned to the center of attention after the words released by the president of Milan, Paolo Scaroni, yesterday afternoon (read the interesting interview here).
The president confirmed that Milan are willing to build their own stadium without Inter as he said the following to the media:
"We are bringing three projects ahead in parallel. One is that of Sesto San Giovanni and another I won’t say, it’s a hole card. If it won’t be San Siro, Milan is even willing to do it alone. We won’t give up, I assure you that the Milan will have the new stadium. The first one that is gets the green light, we will take it..."
This is why La Gazzetta dello Sport chose the following headline:
"Milan leaves Inter."
