AC Milan's head coach, Stefano Pioli, spoke to the media after the 5-2 loss against Sassuolo as he said the following words:
"Scudetto? Our Scudetto will be qualifying for Champions League."
He added:
"Since we didn't win against Roma, we haven't been able to put our performances back on the field. The last two days of training have been the best for attitude and attention. I understand that now there can be no lightness. These moments can only be overcome by working compactly."
There is a need for a stronger midfield...
"I'm certainly thinking about many things, everything that has worked for us in these two years and has allowed us to play good and concrete football in this last month is not working. Then you have to change a little something, I will make the appropriate decisions to help the team have more compactness and positions that give us more balance in both phases of the game."
Pioli on Ciprian Tatarusanu:
"When a team suffers so much even the goalkeeper gets into trouble, right now I don't have to dwell on a single one but on how the team should keep the field better, with more unity and better distances. We will work during the week to make improvements quickly, because Sunday will be an important match (derby vs Inter)."
