Former AC Milan player defends Tatarusanu and claims it’s “unfair” to blame him for all responsibilities

Speaking on Radio Rai, the former AC Milan goalkeeper, Giovanni Galli , spoke of the very complicated moment that the AC Milan club is experiencing:

"Milan, at the moment, is a deflated team from every point of view: on an intensity level and also physical level. It's a team that is aware that they are in great difficulty, they lack the same courage which allowed them to reach the title last year. When you win everything goes well and becomes automatic, but there are also difficult moments in which fear takes over and mistakes arrive. Against Sassuolo, I saw a defense that always ran away, while last year they attacked. The team doesn't move without the ball, there are players who refuse it."

On the Rossoneri goalkeepers, Giovanni Galli said the following words:

"Last year, Maignan was decisive, in terms of performance and personality. For the team-mates it is important to feel the presence of the goalkeeper, just as it is also important for the fans. If you have a figure of a certain type in the middle of the field, this becomes important. It must be said that Tatarusanu isn't even lucky, because he gets shot on goal so many times; right now he's not Milan's problem . He doesn't have many admirers, in the public and in the press. For now, however, it is unfair that all the responsibilities fall on Tararusanu's shoulders."
