As pointed out by La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition, the choices of the Rossoneri coach Stefano Pioli did not bring the desired effects, on the contrary, until Leao came on in the second half, Milan never saw Onana.
The two centre-forwards experiment didn't go well: Olivier Giroud, in the second half, had a great chance to equalize, but he could not control the ball very well. Divock Origi was a total flop as well.
Leao's entry into the field in the 55th minute brought a little more vivacity and speed to the Rossoneri maneuver, but it wasn't enough to shock the team. Leao is still struggling, the World Cup effort is weighing on him and perhaps also the long renewal talks.
