AC Milan's technical area director, Paolo Maldini, has spoken to the microphones of DAZN.
Here are his words:
"It makes no sense to give space to social rumours. Pioli? He is not under discussion. We changed formation module to find our solidity. Until the game against Salernitana we were in line with last year's performance. Leao was playing as a striker when we bought him. When he played on the flank he was uncatchable."
He added:
"Right now, Leao is back in a more central position but it won't bother him. He misses attacking space more. The renewal? We are where we were before. It's not the best moment to think about that. We don't have any meetings planned. Maignan's return is planned, he will rejoin the team in the next ten days. But he needs time to return to form."
